The first song that I ever fell in love with from Alison Krauss & Union Station was Take Me For Longing from their Live (2002) release. The only thing is that when Alison sang, “I’m not asking your heart to believe me,” I was 100% certain that she was singing, “I’m not asking your holler to believe me,” which I so totally prefer, because I absolutely love the image of this dude’s entire holler congregating and being like, “Son, we don’t believe that bitch for a second.”
my instinctive reaction when i hear Alison Krauss’ voice.
It could be the happiest song ever and it just makes me weep. SING TO ME ALWAYS, ALISON.
“Forget About It” by Alison Krauss + Union Station. Sad song for a sad night.
Her voice is FLAWLESS.
